WASM – WASM is monitoring a rainy weather condition expected to affect most days of the coming week, beginning gradually at the start of the coming week, intensifying during its middle, and expected to continue until the end of the coming week as a result of the anticipated push of a cold air mass towards wide areas of the eastern Mediterranean basin extending to northern Arabia and Iraq and Turkey.
Light scattered rainfall is expected to resume next Saturday and the weather will be partly cloudy, followed by a temporary rise in temperatures on Sunday before the rainy condition affects, which is expected to cover various regions of Jordan.
In detail, a high pressure system is controlling areas of central and eastern Europe and North Africa, which is pushing the cold mass towards the eastern Mediterranean and northern Arabia next week. This will coincide with the beginning of the rainy weather condition's impact along with a sharp extension of the Red Sea low before the start of the cold air mass's impact.
