WASM- Clouds will increase at various altitudes in scattered areas across Jordan, bringing thunderstorms and rain to limited areas of the country today, Tuesday, and during Wednesday and Thursday, coinciding with the beginning of the gradual retreat of the strong heat wave.
The weather will be hot and humid during Tuesday through Thursday, with temperatures above the mid-30s in the capital Amman and lower in the mountainous areas, reaching the early 30s, coinciding with active northwest winds that cause increased humidity across the Kingdom.
Another slight drop in temperatures is expected tomorrow, Wednesday, coinciding with an increase in humidity and the appearance of clouds at various altitudes.
Starting from Thursday, dust-stirring winds will intensify and the country will be affected by unstable weather conditions with limited thundery rain showers falling, and temperatures will drop noticeably during the night hours and Friday morning, with the heat wave retreating from the Kingdom beginning from the high southern mountainous areas and gradually extending to the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
The weather during the weekend will be moderate during night and morning hours and hot in the afternoon and evening periods, with temperatures in Amman reaching around 34-35 degrees Celsius.
Jordan is expected to be affected starting from the beginning of next week by a moderately warm air mass, resulting in another noticeable drop in temperatures, creating pleasant moderate autumn-like conditions in general with the appearance of low clouds.
The reason for the unstable weather conditions is the advance of moderately warm winds coming from the Mediterranean Sea during Thursday, which will coincide with the presence of the heat wave, resulting in unstable conditions, thunderstorms, and active winds.
