Rain showers will be heavy in some areas for short periods, causing water accumulation.
The alert level reaches yellow due to thunderstorm rain showers, active winds, and weather fluctuations during Sunday evening and Monday.
The intensity of weather fluctuations will decrease on Tuesday, with thunderstorms continuing sporadically in different areas during daylight hours, followed by renewed heavy thunderstorm rain in the evening of Wednesday and during Thursday across all regions as the country is expected to be affected by a weather depression.
A significant drop in temperatures is expected over the coming days, particularly at the end of the week, requiring winter clothing from the end of the week due to expected cold weather conditions. Winter clothing is also recommended during night and morning hours starting from Monday.
The reason for these weather conditions is the positioning of a cold air mass over the eastern Mediterranean and another warm air mass over northern Saudi Arabia, which leads to thunderstorm formation and weather fluctuations. A deep cold air front is expected to advance through the lower and middle atmospheric layers in the evening of Sunday and Monday morning, with another more powerful front expected in the evening of Wednesday and Thursday.
