WASM- The Kingdom will be affected by a low-pressure system centered around the Cyprus Basin tomorrow, Friday, causing sharp fluctuations in temperatures and significant wind activity, especially in desert areas. It is also expected that clouds will increase and light rain showers will fall in scattered areas.
Temperatures will drop sharply during Friday evening and Friday/Saturday night, reaching around 32 degrees Celsius at midday Friday in the capital and mountains, but will decrease to 14 degrees Celsius on Friday/Saturday night, causing a large temperature difference approaching 20 degrees Celsius that calls for caution and attention to wearing light winter clothing to avoid sudden colds, especially for children and the elderly.
It is also expected that the weather will be dusty at times in some areas, especially the desert regions of the Kingdom. Therefore, outdoor trips are not recommended, especially for those with respiratory diseases, allergies, and asthma.
Cool spring conditions from Saturday through Monday..
Spring conditions will return, cooler and more humid, from Saturday through Monday in the capital and mountainous areas, coinciding with the presence of clouds during most periods. Rain showers will occasionally fall, and temperatures will be below seasonal averages by approximately 5-7 degrees Celsius. The reason for these conditions is the influx of cooler and more humid winds behind the low-pressure system.
Other weather fluctuations at the end of next week..
Weather fluctuations will return at the end of next week with temperatures varying and increased chances of rain showers in many areas at a later time, and these weather fluctuations are expected to continue through the end of month 5 at least based on data from the climate model of the WASM Regional Center.
