Jordan | Atmospheric low pressure system receding with stable weather expected tomorrow Friday and rising temperatures

WASM - Weather will stabilize tonight and tomorrow Friday with temperatures rising. Friday and Saturday will be partially cloudy and warm during the day while remaining cold at night. The atmospheric low pressure system will completely recede, which had brought very large amounts of rain to wide areas of the Kingdom and caused a wave of floods that extended to the capital Amman.

In detail, a warm high pressure system is controlling the Kingdom's atmosphere starting Friday, with its effects intensifying Saturday and Sunday, and temperatures will rise noticeably and gradually return to their seasonal averages.

Winds will be active on Saturday morning coinciding with clouds at different altitudes and light and limited rainfall showers in some areas.

Temperatures are expected to increase further during the coming week with occasional clouds and rainfall showers in some areas, with temperatures around 25-26 degrees Celsius in the capital and mountains amid warm and spring-like conditions.

Eid weather.. cold with rainfall showers..
A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected during the Eid period with expectations of rainy and cold conditions later, where it is recommended to wear light winter or spring clothing while being cautious of rainfall showers which are expected to intensify later during the Eid period.

Rainfall amounts in the west of the capital Amman since the beginning of the low pressure system's impact (from Monday evening until Thursday evening) reached 90-110 mm, which is a massive amount equivalent to 4 times what falls in April and equals one-fifth of the entire rainy season and matches the average rainfall of a winter month. This atmospheric low pressure system is classified as "rare compared to this warm spring period".
