WASM – The impact of the atmospheric low weakens tomorrow, Friday, and scattered rain showers will fall during the morning hours, with the weather becoming stable during the evening and remaining generally cold and cloudy.
Heavy rainfall is expected to continue tonight over the north and central parts of the Kingdom extending to the Karak region with moderate intensity, with caution regarding the formation of floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas. The weather condition is classified as orange level, and the intensity of rainfall will decrease after midnight with the formation of heavy fog in the high mountains.
Rain showers will fall in the north of the Kingdom during the late night of Saturday/Sunday, intensifying later on Sunday night as a result of the expected impact of a new deep and highly effective atmospheric low accompanied by heavy rain across various regions, especially the north and central parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by cold polar winds that will deepen gradually on Monday.
Continued renewal of atmospheric lows is expected in the middle of next week with a significant drop in temperatures, resulting in severely cold conditions due to the deepening of intense cold polar winds coinciding with the continuation of heavy precipitation.
WASM is monitoring the continuation of successive atmospheric lows over the region until the beginning of February (at the earliest), which will bring large quantities of rainfall.
