A cold and humid air mass is deepening its impact on the Kingdom with low and medium clouds expected to intensify tomorrow, Friday. There will be a noticeable drop in temperatures and scattered rainfall in the north and central parts of the Kingdom, coinciding with active westerly winds that will stir up dust and sand in desert areas.
In detail, cold westerly winds with high humidity are moving towards the Kingdom tonight and Friday morning, with scattered rainfall expected in the north of the Kingdom gradually extending to the central region. This rainfall will be heavy in limited areas for short periods in parts of northern Kingdom.
Temperatures will reach around 16-17 degrees Celsius during the day in mountainous highlands and drop below 8-9 degrees during night hours due to the impact of this cold and humid air mass.
This air mass will begin to gradually retreat on Saturday and Sunday, with weather remaining generally cold and mild during daytime hours as low clouds continue to appear.
Temperatures will rise temporarily on Monday before a new cold and humid air mass is expected to push towards the Kingdom again, bringing increased rainfall chances later during the end of next week.
The Kingdom was affected during the Eid period by moderate and pleasant conditions that became cold starting from the third day of Eid as a result of the deepening impact of the cold and humid air mass.
