Jordan | Cold weather in the mountains continues until Tuesday morning

Low temperatures and generally cold conditions are expected to continue until Tuesday morning in mountainous areas, with temperatures at the peaks of the capital Amman reaching only about 10 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning, coinciding with the appearance of low clouds and active winds.

Heavy thundershowers are expected to fall, but in limited areas of the north and northeast of the kingdom and limited areas of the mountain peaks during the afternoon and evening of Monday and Tuesday, coinciding with an overall improvement in weather during midday and afternoon hours.

The average daily temperature in mountainous areas during Saturday reached only 15-16 degrees Celsius with highs around 20 degrees Celsius and lows around 10 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures are expected to rise during Tuesday daytime and throughout the end of the week to return to normal spring rates at this time of year, with weather leaning slightly cooler in the mountains during evening and morning hours.
