Tomorrow, Friday, will be cold with partly cloudy skies and limited rain showers expected in some areas during the day, particularly in mountainous regions, with light winds changing direction.
Jordan is expected to be affected on Saturday by dense cumulus clouds, especially over mountainous areas and some eastern regions of Jordan, with thunderstorm showers expected to be heavy in some areas.
WASM will lower the alert level starting late tonight to the yellow level and will keep the alert level active until Saturday evening due to expected rain showers in some areas.
Heavy rainfall occurred during the previous hours due to a low pressure system positioned near the coasts of northern Palestine and Lebanon, causing high humidity winds to move toward the Kingdom.
Weather is expected to stabilize on Sunday with rain resuming later during Wednesday and Thursday of next week in some areas.
