Jordan | Complete decline of the heat wave tomorrow Friday with moderate weather in most regions

WASM- Temperatures will drop significantly tomorrow, Friday, with noticeable and tangible cooling, and weather will become moderate in most areas, especially mountainous regions. A complete end to the heat wave that has affected the country for two weeks and caused a significant rise in temperatures is expected.

Temperatures will drop tomorrow, Friday, to around 32-33 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman and will continue to decrease to 30 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday, then to 29 degrees Celsius during the middle of next week.

Weather will become slightly cold during nighttime and early morning in high mountains starting from Friday/Saturday night, and this feeling will intensify during the nights of next week. Low clouds will appear and humidity levels will rise during nighttime, but without causing an uncomfortable feeling due to the expected temperature drop.

Temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and Dead Sea regions will drop below 40 degrees Celsius during daytime and will approach 36-37 degrees Celsius, coinciding with northwesterly wind activity in most areas.

WASM expects temperatures to drop during the period between September 11-17 according to data from the climate model developed at WASM, following a short and temporary rise in temperatures not exceeding one day's duration. Weather conditions during that period will become autumnal and will tend to be slightly cool in general, especially in the mountains.
