WASM- Typical summer weather conditions are expected to continue over the coming days, with the weather being mild most of the time and hot during midday and afternoon hours, especially in low-lying areas. Temperatures will remain around their seasonal averages, reaching around 34 degrees Celsius in the city of Amman at an elevation of 750 meters above sea level.
It is expected that temperatures in the capital and mountainous areas will range around 31-33 degrees Celsius, with conditions becoming slightly cooler during nighttime hours and early morning in mountainous areas, coinciding with active northwesterly winds and strong gusts at times.
A temporary rise in temperatures is expected towards the end of next week. It is worth noting that the European continent is being affected by historic and record-breaking heat waves, which have resulted in fewer and rare hot days during this summer in Jordan and the eastern Mediterranean region, with temperatures hovering around their seasonal averages to slightly below.
