WASM - Cold and rainy conditions will continue tonight in the northern and central regions, extending occasionally to the southern areas. The weather will be generally rainy, foggy, and cold with wind speeds gradually decreasing during the night. Caution is advised regarding zero visibility due to dense, rainy clouds affecting mountainous areas.
The weather will gradually stabilize tomorrow, Thursday, with scattered light rainfall in the north and central parts of the Kingdom and some southern mountainous areas, while the weather remains cold, with the peak cold expected during the Thursday/Friday night.
The weather will be "temporarily" stable on Friday and Saturday before rainfall resumes, particularly in the northern part of the Kingdom on Sunday coinciding with cold conditions.
The WSAM Regional Center is also monitoring a new atmospheric low pressure system after the middle of next week, which will lead to renewed rainfall and cold conditions in many areas along with active winds.
The WSAM Regional Center forecasted consecutive rainy conditions during the first half of December in its monthly bulletin, which are expected to intensify during the second half of the month, and the WSAM Regional Center denies any "interruption or rainfall suppression" in the Kingdom as has been rumored in the coming period.
