WASM – WASM is monitoring a new wave of heavy precipitation and a renewal of very cold conditions during the end of next week as a result of the activity of atmospheric depressions in the region, and WASM is following the expected weather conditions at the end of next week and during the end of January and the first week of February.
The activity of very cold eastern winds will continue until the morning of Sunday, after which their speed will decrease and winds will become variable in direction, temperatures will rise slightly, and the intensity of the strong cold wave will ease during the middle of next week, before the beginning of the impact of atmospheric depressions.
Stable weather conditions will continue temporarily until the middle of next week with an expected retreat of the cold wave and a slight rise in temperatures.
Atmospheric pressure rises over the southwest of the European continent and North African regions, which pushes polar-origin cold winds toward the Eastern Mediterranean basin, Turkey, and reaching Jordan by the end of the week, causing the formation of an atmospheric depression and a renewal of very cold conditions and heavy precipitation.
