Jordan Experiences Early Autumn Fluctuations.. Temperature Variations, Active Winds, and Rain Showers Expected by End of Week

WASM – The Kingdom is being affected by the first autumn weather fluctuations, occurring very early compared to this time of year. It is expected that active easterly winds causing dust and sand to be stirred up will occur from Sunday through Tuesday, followed by a significant drop in temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday with weather disturbances and scattered rainfall.

- "Very early" active easterly winds from Sunday through Tuesday|
Easterly winds are becoming active this autumn season during the coming days as a result of an unusually early extension of the Red Sea low-pressure system, which is expected to stir up dust and sand and lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility.

This coincides with rising temperatures, especially on Monday and Tuesday, making daytime weather warmer than usual. The weather conditions associated with the Red Sea low-pressure system typically affect during the second half of October, and this early activity could be an important indicator of the possibility of unusual weather conditions during the upcoming rainy season due to intensifying climate changes.

Sharp drop in temperatures on Wednesday with weather disturbances|
Temperatures will drop on Wednesday, especially during evening hours, significantly and sharply, with the temperature difference potentially exceeding 10 degrees Celsius in a short period. As evening hours of Wednesday approach, increased cloud cover at various altitudes is expected, and chances of scattered rainfall increase between Wednesday evening and Thursday. WASM Regional Center will provide further details progressively.

The Center continuously monitors expected weather conditions during the coming period, as early autumn weather disturbances and fluctuations are expected to continue during the forthcoming period.
