WASM - The strong heat wave is declining noticeably on a daily basis on Sunday and Monday, during Sunday evening until Monday evening, especially in high mountainous areas, but the strong heat wave returns and reaches its peak and final days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Temperatures in the capital Amman on Sunday and Monday range between 36-38 degrees Celsius, then rise on Tuesday to 39 degrees Celsius and return to levels of 40 degrees Celsius on Wednesday coinciding with high humidity.
The strong heat wave coincided with high humidity levels during the previous days, which caused an increase in the feeling of high temperatures in various regions.
Temperatures in the capital Amman reached between 40-41 degrees Celsius during Thursday and Friday, and exceeded 44 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and desert areas, coinciding with limited rainfall in desert and southern areas on Friday.
It is expected that this strong heat wave will gradually recede during Friday and Saturday from various regions and the weather will become moderate, with temperatures declining noticeably but remaining above their normal levels.
