Jordan.. Heat wave impact to recede tomorrow Tuesday with temperatures declining

WASM- The heat wave is expected to retreat tomorrow, Tuesday, with temperatures dropping noticeably, as normal summer weather conditions return, characterized by hot days and moderate nights.

It is expected that temperatures will record slightly above their averages for this time of year and approach 33-34 degrees Celsius in Amman during the coming days. The temperature in Amman recorded 39 degrees Celsius on Sunday and exceeded 40 degrees Celsius in many Jordanian cities.

The WSAM Regional Center is monitoring an expected heat wave at the end of July and beginning of August that will coincide with the presence of cloud amounts and limited thundershower precipitation in some areas.

WSAM recommends increasing consumption of cold beverages, avoiding direct sunlight, and using air conditioning units at only 23-24 degrees Celsius to reduce electricity consumption and increase air conditioner efficiency.
