WASM - The intense heat wave will intensify tomorrow, Tuesday, and reach its peak on Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to record levels of 40 degrees Celsius again in wide areas of Jordan, with the heat wave completely receding on Friday after affecting the Kingdom for two weeks.

Temperature in Amman will record around 36 degrees Celsius tomorrow, Tuesday, then rise on Wednesday to 40 degrees Celsius coinciding with increased humidity levels. The Kingdom will continue to be affected by the heat wave on Thursday, where temperatures in Amman are expected to record around 37 degrees Celsius.

This intense heat wave is expected to gradually recede on Friday from various regions, with temperatures dropping noticeably and weather becoming moderate.

Temperatures during the coming week are expected to record levels between the late 20s and early 30s Celsius in Amman, marking the first time in two months, indicating the approach of autumn.

WASM Regional Center advises increasing consumption of cold fluids, staying away from direct sunlight, not leaving sterilization products inside vehicles, and setting air conditioning units to 22-24 degrees to avoid pressure on the electricity sector.
