Tuesday and Wednesday.. Heavy thunderstorms on and off..
The country will be affected by an atmospheric low-pressure system and cold, high-humidity winds. Therefore, Tuesday's weather will be cloudy and rainy with heavy precipitation, thunder, lightning, and hail in some areas. These rains will be severe in some zones of central Kingdom regions, around the Dead Sea, and in the northeastern parts of the country.
Wednesday's weather, being the first day of Eid, will be rainy and cold with thunder and lightning especially in the northern, central, and eastern parts of the Kingdom, coinciding with active winds.
WASM has issued an orange alert level for the expected weather conditions from Monday evening until Wednesday evening due to heavy thunderstorms and the risk of flash floods.
Mild spring conditions on the second and third days of Eid..
The weather will improve on the second and third days of Eid, becoming mild and springlike during the day and cold at night and in the morning. Temperatures around 21°C during daytime in mountainous areas and around 11°C at night.
The chance of limited scattered rain showers remains possible at times, especially during midday and afternoon hours.
Another rainy spell around mid-April..
As a result of the continued dominance of a strong atmospheric pressure zone over Europe and North Africa, WASM Regional Center is monitoring a renewal of heavy thunderstorms around mid-April through the beginning of the fourth week of the month, which are expected to result in more heavy thunderstorms
