Amman- The intense heat wave continues to affect the Kingdom for the eighth consecutive day, which started last Thursday. Temperatures in the capital Amman reached 41.4 degrees Celsius. It is expected that temperatures will decrease slightly and gradually during the end of the week, but with a noticeable increase in surface humidity levels, which creates the sensation of higher temperatures than those recorded.
Temperatures will drop noticeably next Sunday but with continued hot weather. Then there will be a significant drop on Monday, especially during evening and night hours, and the weather will become pleasantly warm.
A pleasant temperature air mass will affect the Kingdom during the middle of next week, causing temperatures to drop below 30 degrees Celsius in the capital and mountainous areas, with slight coldness in the atmosphere during night hours and early morning, and fog is expected to form in some areas.
It is recommended to completely avoid direct sunlight and increase fluid intake, and adjust air conditioning units to a temperature between 22-24 degrees Celsius to avoid putting pressure on the electricity sector.
