Jordan | Hot and dry weather conditions to continue in the coming days

WASM – The heat wave continues over the coming days in the Kingdom, with temperatures reaching around 37 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, and the peak of this wave is expected on Wednesday and Thursday.

The continuation of this heat wave is expected to last for extended periods, becoming less intense at times and more intense at others, with temperatures remaining around 37 degrees Celsius in the capital, and clouds increasing at medium altitudes during the weekend.

This wave began gradually on Friday and intensified on Saturday and Sunday, and is expected to continue for extended periods, coinciding with a temporary increase in humidity levels in the afternoon and evening hours in the mountainous highlands and northern parts of the Kingdom.

WASM recommends avoiding direct sunlight and increasing fluid intake, as well as not running air conditioning units at temperatures below 22 degrees Celsius to avoid pressure on electrical sectors and increased consumption.
