WASM- Hot summer conditions are expected during the coming days, with temperatures in the capital and surrounding mountains reaching around 36-38 degrees Celsius, while extremely hot conditions are anticipated in low-lying and desert areas. Humidity levels will rise noticeably starting Friday, coinciding with the continuation of hot weather which will increase the sensation of temperatures higher than recorded.
Winds will be light to moderate speed at times, with light winds during evening and night hours accompanied by hotter conditions compared to previous nights.
These hot conditions are expected to persist until mid-next week, after which temperatures will drop noticeably and return to close to their seasonal averages.
WASM recommends avoiding direct sunlight, increasing fluid intake, and setting air conditioning devices to between 22-24 degrees Celsius.
