WASM- The impact of the atmospheric low pressure system will intensify tomorrow, Thursday, during the morning hours gradually, especially over the north and central regions of the Kingdom. Heavy thunderstorms and dense hail will fall at times, and snow showers will also fall over the peaks of high mountains exceeding 1000 meters above sea level, accumulating slightly and temporarily.
In detail, rain and hail showers will continue tonight in the north and central regions of the Kingdom, then the atmospheric low pressure system will deepen tomorrow, Thursday, near the coasts of Lebanon coinciding with the impact of the polar wave. Rainfall will intensify and become heavy and thunderous coinciding with snow falling above 1000 meters above sea level accumulating slightly and temporarily.
The impact of the atmospheric low pressure system will continue on Friday with heavy thunderstorms and dense hail at times continuing coinciding with snow falling above 1000 meters above sea level especially over the north and central regions of the Kingdom. Precipitation is expected to extend to the highlands of the south of the Kingdom during some periods.
Some regions in the north and central parts of the Kingdom are expected to be affected by thunderstorms during Thursday and Friday, as well as active winds at times and temperatures dropping to zero degrees Celsius in high mountainous areas. Caution must be exercised from the formation of torrents and flash floods in low-lying areas. WASM issues an orange alert level starting from the morning of Thursday.
Weather will stabilize gradually on the coming Saturday with it remaining cold and partly cloudy with scattered light rain showers, and temperatures will rise gradually on Sunday with the country being affected by a warm spring wave during the coming week.
The blessed month of Ramadan is expected to be moderate to cold at times with the continuation of rainy conditions and cold and humid weather.
