TAG - Temperatures will drop noticeably and winds will intensify on Monday and Tuesday, with increased clouds and light rain expected in scattered areas across the Kingdom coinciding with cold weather conditions resulting from a weak low-pressure system centered around the island of Cyprus.
Cold conditions will continue on Wednesday and Thursday coinciding with the continued appearance of clouds at various altitudes and light, limited rainfall showers.
Starting from the end of the week, Jordan is expected to be affected by a new wave of low-pressure systems that will intensify toward the end of the month accompanied by strong polar waves and heavy precipitation as a result of the expected dominance of a strong high-pressure system over the European continent.
A phenomenon known as "sudden polar surge" is expected to occur, coming from the Arctic region toward eastern Europe and via Turkey then the eastern Mediterranean during the coming week, and all details will be issued successively as the timeframe approaches.
