Jordan | Light rain expected tomorrow Monday, with a low-pressure system beginning Tuesday night through the end of the week

WASM- The Kingdom will be affected by weak weather conditions tomorrow, Monday, with light scattered rainfall amid continued cold weather. A depression accompanied by an extremely cold polar air mass is approaching starting Tuesday night, with scattered rainfall beginning in various regions.

In detail, a warm weather front will affect the Kingdom tomorrow, Monday, which will contribute slightly to rising temperatures and form medium and high clouds with light rainfall in various regions of the Kingdom coinciding with the approach of the atmospheric depression.

Temperatures will drop on Tuesday as a result of the beginning of the polar wave's impact accompanied by an atmospheric depression, with scattered thundery showers falling during Tuesday/Wednesday evening and night hours and continuing through Wednesday daytime, especially in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom.

The impact of the atmospheric depression and the accompanying polar wave will intensify during Wednesday evening with heavy thundery rainfall coinciding with heavy hail sometimes, especially in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, with a drop in temperatures and very cold wind activity.

The impact of the atmospheric depression will continue on Thursday and Friday with heavy rainfall and heavy hail showers sometimes. This weather condition may also occasionally be accompanied by thunderstorms and increased chances of flash floods and water torrents in many regions, especially in the northern and central parts of the country due to the large amounts of expected rainfall.

Snow showers are expected on the peaks of high mountains during Thursday and Friday sometimes due to the intensification and deepening of the polar wave's impact. These weather conditions are considered unusual for this time of year. A yellow alert level is issued starting Tuesday/Wednesday night and rises to orange starting Wednesday evening until Friday/Saturday night.

The impact of the polar wave and atmospheric depression will gradually recede during the coming Saturday with very cold and cloudy weather continuing and rainfall showers occurring. Temperatures will rise "clearly and noticeably" during the beginning and middle of next week.
