WASM – Light scattered rainfall is expected tomorrow, Tuesday night through Wednesday daytime, over various areas of western Jordan due to the country being affected by a weak low-pressure system centered north of Cyprus and the Syrian coasts.
Temperatures are expected to drop tomorrow, especially during evening and nighttime hours as the cold air front accompanying the weak low-pressure system passes through, which will increase low-level clouds and light rainfall. The green alert level for weather conditions will remain in effect due to not expecting significant impacts on public life.
Weather will stabilize from Wednesday evening through at least Saturday daytime, before rainy and cold weather conditions approaching Jordan from the Mediterranean basin are expected to begin affecting the region at the beginning of next week.
A strong high-pressure system is expected to dominate vast areas of central Europe and parts of eastern Europe starting from the end of this week, which in turn will push cold air masses toward the region.
WASM expects successive rainy weather conditions during the last two weeks of the current month to reach their peak during the final week of the month.
