is affected by a heavy rainy weather condition that begins gradually in the evening hours of Wednesday and intensifies during the night of Wednesday/Thursday and continues throughout Thursday due to the country being affected by a low pressure system stationed near the coasts of northern Palestine affecting the northern and central regions and extending towards the southern mountains of Jordan.
Heavy rains are expected at times with thunderstorms, and flash floods are anticipated in some low-lying areas, particularly during the dawn and morning hours of Thursday.
Starting from Friday, Jordan is affected by unstable conditions and partly cloudy, generally cold weather, these clouds turn into thunderstorms during daylight hours across different regions with heavy thundery rainfall showers falling at times, and this condition continues until Saturday.
WASM has issued an orange alert level due to the severity of expected weather conditions starting from Wednesday evening and throughout Thursday due to heavy rainfall at times.
Eastern winds are active tomorrow, Tuesday, stirring up dust in exposed desert areas but temporarily at the beginning of the low pressure system's effect in the evening of Wednesday.
