Jordan | Mild Weather in the Coming Days and an Early Autumn Wave Beginning Next Week

WASM – The Kingdom will continue to be affected by moderate weather and temperatures below seasonal averages, with slightly cold conditions during night and morning hours in the mountains and plains, and scattered clouds appearing occasionally.

A slight rise in temperature is expected on Friday temporarily and imperceptibly, in preparation for an early autumn wave moving toward the region, leading to a noticeable drop in temperature next week.

Moderate weather in the coming days|
Moderate weather will continue in the coming days with temperatures in the twenties Celsius in the capital and mountains, with increased humidity levels and scattered clouds appearing occasionally, and conditions will be slightly cold during night and morning hours with temperatures reaching 17 degrees Celsius in the mountains and plains.

Slight temperature rise on Friday|
Warmer conditions will advance toward the Kingdom and the eastern Mediterranean compared to previous days due to the approach of an early autumn wave to the region. This temperature rise will be slight and temporary, with temperatures reaching around 30-31 degrees Celsius in the capital and mountains during the day, while weather remains moderate or slightly cold in the mountains and plains during the night.

Early autumn wave next week|
An early autumn wave will advance toward the Kingdom next week and continue for several days, making the atmosphere completely autumnal and cooler during night and morning hours in the mountains and plains, with scattered clouds appearing.

Rare heat wave toward most of Europe next week|
Europe will be affected during next week by a "rare" heat wave despite the start of autumn for those regions. This heat wave is expected to last several days and is caused by an unusual weakening of jet streams blowing in the upper layers of the atmosphere, leading to the advance of hot winds from the hot African deserts toward the European continent.

These weather conditions may be an important indicator of climate changes affecting the region, which have caused a decline in summer intensity and increased rainfall rates in Jordan and regional countries in recent years, which may become more pronounced in the coming years.
