WASM- The weather will remain moderate and autumnal during the coming days and until Thursday, with light limited rainfall in scattered areas of the Kingdom, especially mountainous regions, with fog formation that will be dense at times in plains and high mountain areas during the night and early morning.
Temperatures will rise "noticeably and significantly" at the end of the week as a result of a sharp extension of the Red Sea low-pressure system coming from the south, which pushes warmer winds towards the Kingdom, but this coincides with the approach of cooler winds from the Mediterranean Sea.
Slightly cold conditions will continue in many areas, especially mountainous regions, during the night and early morning with cloud thickening, particularly in mountainous areas, and light and limited rainfall.
The WASM regional center is also monitoring Hurricane "Shaheen" which struck with force east of the Sultanate of Oman and the capital Muscat, which is expected to move toward the UAE at night in a rare and unusual path that may not have occurred in the history of modern climate records.
