Jordan | Moderate autumn weather with cold autumn nights in the mountains.. and autumn fluctuations next week

The Kingdom continues to be affected by moderate and early autumn weather conditions, with temperatures several degrees below seasonal averages, especially toward the end of the week. The mountains and plains of the Kingdom will experience cold autumn nights with minimum temperatures reaching 13 degrees Celsius in the high mountains and plains.

Light and limited rainfall is expected over parts of northern and central regions of the Kingdom in the coming days due to cloud cover and lower temperatures.

Autumn fluctuations next week|
The Kingdom is expected to experience sharp autumn and temperature fluctuations during the middle and end of next week, with the extension of the Red Sea Low expected for the first time this season and very early compared to previous years.

The Red Sea Low is typically a dry thermal weather system that is not very effective, but it leads to significant temperature variations and changes in wind direction between active easterly and westerly winds, and in some periods may lead to atmospheric instability if weather conditions are favorable.

The Red Sea Low normally becomes active during the middle and end of October, but its activity this season is expected to begin during next week and very early—about 3-4 weeks ahead of the normal pattern. This may be due to lower temperatures and an early retreat of summer.

Rainfall chances|
Rainfall chances are possible during the last third of the current month, and due to the expected weather and temperature fluctuations, but they are not expected to be significant, heavy, or widespread. Changes are possible due to the rapidly changing autumn weather conditions.
