Jordan| Moderate summer conditions continue over the kingdom with an additional temperature decline mid-next week

Moderate to normal summer weather continues to affect the Kingdom over the coming days with temperatures around their seasonal averages or slightly below.

Temperatures in the capital will remain stable during the day around 31-32 degrees Celsius and 20-22 degrees Celsius at night and in the morning, with active northwestern winds continuing to stir dust and sand.

Another additional temperature drop in the middle of next week..
It is expected that a moderately warm air mass will affect the Kingdom in the middle of next week, causing another temperature drop to become slightly below seasonal averages, coinciding with an increase in surface humidity.

Continued severe heat waves in the western Mediterranean..
Severe heat waves continue in the western Mediterranean, this time concentrated west of Algeria and Morocco and southwest of the European continent, and are expected to extend directly to large parts of France and southern Germany and approach the British Isles.

Temperatures below their seasonal averages by about half a degree Celsius during June and July..
Despite hot conditions during the second half of July, temperatures were about half a degree Celsius below their usual seasonal averages during June and July combined, due to a delay in the onset of hot weather until the second half of July, and moderate summer conditions prevailing during June and the first half of July.

The number of hot days was low during June and July at about 35% of all days across the Kingdom's regions (higher than the seasonal average), due to the dominance of severe heat waves in the western Mediterranean and southern Europe, which prevented the seasonal warm mass of the Indian thermal low from extending directly, and what makes this summer distinctive is its coincidence with rainy and moderate conditions during June, while the hot conditions were not record-breaking or unusual.

The atmosphere is affected by severe thermal extremes between different regions of the world, with many areas experiencing very severe and record heat waves, while other areas experience cold and rainy summers with even snow falling, and it should be noted that many severe heat waves occurring in the world have recurred 80-100 years ago in many parts of the world, and adapting to and coping with climate change is considered the best solution to mitigate its negative effects.
