Jordan | Moderate summer weather continues for several more days with no heat waves on the horizon

WASM – Mild summer weather will continue across the Kingdom for several more days with temperatures remaining below summer seasonal averages, and moderate-speed northwesterly winds will blow, occasionally gusting especially during midday.

Slight rise in temperature on Thursday..
Temperatures will rise slightly on Thursday while remaining around to below their seasonal averages, with the weather being generally mild in the mountains and hot in the low-lying areas, plains, Aqaba and the Dead Sea, and it will remain slightly cool during the night and early morning. The WASM Regional Center expects temperatures to remain below their summer seasonal averages for most days of this month.

Mild summer conditions through mid-next week..
Mild summer conditions will continue through mid-week, while temperatures will decrease more significantly on Friday evening through next Monday with increasing low clouds and rising humidity levels especially at night and in the morning.

Temperature rise at the end of next week..
Temperatures will rise after mid-month and during the end of next week slightly, with temperatures approaching their summer seasonal averages. According to the latest data received from the climate model of the WASM Regional Center, hot periods during this month are expected to be "weak and scattered" due to changes that occurred in several key and important climate factors which caused an abrupt and significant change in the activity of the polar jet stream.
