Jordan | Moderate summer weather expected in coming days with a new temperature drop at the end of the week

It is expected that mild summer conditions will continue over the coming days across most regions of the Kingdom, especially the mountainous areas, with highs in the capital Amman around 30 degrees Celsius, which is close to its average at this time of year. Conditions will be slightly cold in the high mountains during the morning and night periods with light clouds appearing, and fog will form on the peaks of Ajloun and Salt mountains.

Temperatures will rise slightly on Wednesday and Thursday, and conditions will become typical summer weather, with hot conditions during midday and afternoon periods and moderate conditions most of the time, while conditions remain generally hot in the low-lying areas, valleys, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea.

Temperatures will drop noticeably starting Friday and during the coming week, and conditions will become generally moderate across most areas and slightly cold in the early morning and night periods in the mountains. Highs in Amman will be around 28 degrees Celsius, becoming lower than its normal average at this time of year. Low clouds are also expected to increase, especially during morning and night periods.
