Jordan | Moderate Summer Weather to Continue in Coming Days with No Heat Waves on the Horizon

WASM – Temperatures will continue around their seasonal averages or slightly below in some periods as a result of the continued effect of cooling northwesterly winds across the eastern Mediterranean, with highs in the capital and mountains reaching around 27-30°C during the day over the coming days and lows between 15-18°C.

The weather will remain hot in low-lying areas, valleys, and the Dead Sea in a typical manner compared to this time of year, reaching around 37-39°C during the day and 22°C at night.

It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight in all areas, not just low-lying areas, due to the high level of harmful ultraviolet rays and the intensity of solar radiation coinciding with a lack of clouds at this time.

Heat waves remain far from the Kingdom's atmosphere|
There are no signs of heat waves approaching the Kingdom due to reasons related to general atmospheric circulation, and moderate to typical summer conditions will remain dominant over the Kingdom's atmosphere throughout the coming few weeks.

This is due to the concentration of strong heat waves toward North Africa and central and western Europe this summer in an almost continuous manner, which allows cooler-than-usual winds to continue pushing toward eastern Europe, Turkey, and the eastern Mediterranean, resulting in moderate summer weather in the Kingdom and the eastern Mediterranean basin.

This also results in the intensification of hot air effects over the Arabian Peninsula, especially its central and eastern parts, for dynamic reasons primarily related to the nature of atmospheric circulation.
