Jordan | Moderate weather in the coming days during the Eid period with cool nights and early mornings

WASM - The Kingdom will be affected by moderate spring weather and "mostly clear" conditions over the coming days with clouds appearing at different altitudes. Maximum temperatures will reach around 28°C in the capital Amman and minimum temperatures around 15°C.

The weather on the first days of Eid is expected to be generally moderate and cold during the night and early morning periods, with maximum temperatures around 27°C in the capital and minimum temperatures around 14-12°C, which necessitates wearing light winter clothing during the night and morning hours. Attention should be paid to fog formation in the northeastern regions of the Kingdom and around Zarqa and Mafraq and the roads connecting them.

Temperatures will rise temporarily and briefly on the second day of Eid, recording around 30°C in the capital, but the weather will remain slightly cold in the early morning and colder after midnight Tuesday/Wednesday. Light scattered showers are expected during the morning period. Winds will be generally moderate to light in speed, with wind activity increasing in the far south and east of the Kingdom, stirring dust in exposed areas.

The weather on the third day of Eid will be slightly cold to cold during night and early morning hours with active westerly winds that stir dust in desert areas. The weather will be partly cloudy with maximum temperatures in the capital reaching 20-22°C and minimum temperatures around 7°C. It is recommended to wear light winter clothing.

The TAG Regional Center is monitoring the deepening of this cold and moist air mass at the end of the week, which will increase cold weather and rainfall showers, especially in parts of northern and central regions of the Kingdom.
