The maximum average temperature reached approximately 34.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum averaged around 22.5 degrees Celsius.

The number of hot days reached approximately 20-22 days, with temperatures recording near their averages on only about 8 days and at scattered intervals.
The Kingdom was also affected during this hot month by a rare humidity wave that coincided with the hot weather, with humidity rates exceeding 60% in the capital Amman and reaching approximately 80% in the western highlands during the period between July 25th and 28th amid elevated temperatures exceeding 34 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, intensifying the feeling of exhaustion from the hot conditions.
Just as the month began with hot days, it also ended with the beginning of a new heat wave expected to continue until the first half of August, making the current summer generally hot, with temperatures significantly above their normal averages.
Jordan has been experiencing unusually elevated temperatures for several years, specifically since 2015, largely due to the impact of global warming waves which have begun causing a new climate crisis. Climate crisis refers to extreme weather conditions including floods, torrential rains, hurricanes, strong and recurring heat waves.
Forecasts indicate the continuation of significantly hot weather throughout August, with the strong heat waves expected to continue through September.
WASM relied on data issued by the Jordanian Meteorological Department regarding daily temperature averages and general climate records.
