WASM – The WASM Regional Center has issued the monthly bulletin for November 2022, utilizing the advanced climate model developed by the WASM Regional Center, the only one of its kind in the Arab region, which is distinguished by "high" accuracy. A high level of accuracy was recorded during October 2022 exceeding 80-82%, while the climate model typically achieves 60% accuracy.
November is expected to be cold and rainy at times, especially during the second week and also the last week, with heavy rainfall in many areas, particularly in the northern and central regions and desert areas, with temperatures registering significantly and markedly below their seasonal averages.
Cold, humid, and occasionally rainy conditions are expected between November 1 and 9, particularly during the days between November 6-8, with heavy rainfall expected before mid-month.
An almost winter cold wave is expected in the third week, followed by a short warm autumn wave towards the end of the third week of the month.
Cold and wintry conditions are expected towards the end of the month, with an early start of winter season anticipated coinciding with heavy precipitation, due to the nature of atmospheric systems in the North Atlantic and Europe and the sharp climate changes experienced by the European continent, which lead to dry waves and significant temperature increases over wide areas of Europe.
