WASM – Temperatures will drop noticeably and clearly starting from Friday evening through next week, with the Kingdom being affected by "early autumn" conditions where the atmosphere becomes slightly cold in mountains and plains in general and moderate in low-lying areas, plains, the Dead Sea and Aqaba especially during night and evening hours, with expectations of rain showers mid-next week.

The Kingdom will be gradually affected by a moderately warm and autumn air mass starting from Friday evening with its impact increasing during next week and temperatures becoming below seasonal averages by several degrees Celsius, low clouds will gradually increase on Saturday and Sunday, and will thicken progressively during mid-week coinciding with northwest wind activity.

The Kingdom will be affected by a slightly cold autumn air mass in mountains and plains in general, with moderate impact on low-lying areas, and it is expected to coincide with the presence of low clouds that will thicken noticeably on Monday and Tuesday next and increase the chances of scattered rain showers.
This autumn air mass results from remnants of several strong and rare storms that formed in the central Mediterranean region, and these storms caused enormous amounts of rain and snow on high mountains, and these weather conditions are considered rare in the Mediterranean region at this time of year.

WASM Regional Center is monitoring a strong and new Mediterranean storm affecting later in the end of next week between central and eastern Mediterranean regions and southern Greece and northern Libya, which will result in a noticeable rise in temperatures for a short period in Jordan and the eastern Mediterranean followed by clear weather disturbances in the period between 22-24 of the month.
