The Kingdom is being affected by a mild temperature air mass pushing from northern Europe and affecting the eastern Mediterranean, and Jordan will experience a temperature drop below the usual summer averages. The weather will be generally pleasantly summer-like and slightly cold during the night and morning, with temperatures at levels of 26-29 degrees Celsius in the capital and mountains.
The weather will be moderately summer during the day and slightly cold during the night in the mountains, with temperatures dropping at night and in the morning to 15-16 degrees Celsius, especially during the second and third days of Eid, coinciding with the appearance of low clouds and opportunities for light and scattered rain showers in the northwest of the Kingdom.
WASM Regional Center advises wearing light summer clothing during the daytime, and being cautious of the slightly cold weather during the night and morning in the mountains, especially for children and the elderly.
It is expected that the chances of rain showers will increase in some northwestern regions of the Kingdom during the end of the week and after the Eid period and will mostly be light and scattered, with rain chances continuing throughout this summer at widely spaced intervals in an unprecedented manner in recent climate records.
It is expected that temperatures will be below the usual summer averages by about 2-3 degrees Celsius and will drop below that during the second and third days of Eid. The average maximum temperature in the capital during this time will reach around 32.5 degrees Celsius, rising during the second half of July and the first half of August to around 33.7 degrees Celsius at the northern Marka station.
