Jordan | Rain showers expected tomorrow Friday with cool autumn nights in the coming days

Label – The Kingdom and the eastern Mediterranean are affected by cold, unseasonable autumn nights (early cold snap) over the coming days, with rain showers expected tomorrow, Friday, in the north and center of the Kingdom and limited areas in the peaks of the southwest.

Rain showers on Friday|
The Kingdom is affected by an extension of a low-pressure system positioned over northeastern Turkey, causing increased cloud cover and unseasonable cold weather, with scattered rain showers falling in parts of the north and center of the Kingdom. Temperatures are expected to drop at night to 12 degrees Celsius in the capital's mountains and lower in higher elevations.

Unseasonable autumn cold continuing|
The WAPM regional center is monitoring early cold and temperature drops below seasonal averages by 5-8 degrees Celsius in a wide region of the Levant, eastern Mediterranean, and northern Saudi Arabia, due to the early cold air mass surging from northern Europe.

Rain shower chances renewed mid to late week in some areas|
As a result of increasing cold in the upper and middle atmospheric layers becoming more pronounced, this is expected to cause clear atmospheric disturbances in some areas and scattered thunderstorms locally. These opportunities will be almost daily starting from mid to late next week.

Heavy, widespread, and regional rainy conditions during the last week of the current month|
As a result of the continued flow of cold winds from northern Europe and the approach of a tropical humid wave from the Arabian Sea, combined with high activity of Mediterranean storms pushing through the central Mediterranean, this increases indicators of high chances for heavy, widespread, and regional rainy conditions occurring alongside unseasonable cold at times during the last week of the month, especially in its final days. These conditions will peak during the first week of November, and no significant break in rainy conditions is expected during November.

WAPM will issue details progressively and as the timeframe approaches, as many areas in the Middle East region are expected to receive heavy rainfall amounts.
