WASM – Jordan will continue to be affected by more rainy weather depressions with heavy rainfall across various regions of the kingdom, including southern and desert areas over the coming days.

The intensity of rain will decline noticeably tomorrow, Wednesday, and will be confined to the north and central regions of the kingdom as scattered showers accompanied by generally cold weather conditions.

As a result of the continued dominance of a very cold air mass over Turkey and southeastern Europe, this will lead to the advance of a new cold weather front towards Jordan on Thursday evening, causing a renewal of thunderstorms across various regions, including southern and desert areas. These thunderstorms will be heavy at times, and cold and rainy weather will continue during Friday daytime, then temporary stability will return during Friday evening and Saturday daytime.
