Jordan | Rainy conditions to continue tomorrow, Saturday, with intensification of polar wave mid-week

TAG- Stormy and rainy weather continues today, Friday, with heavy rainfall expected to decrease during the evening and night and tomorrow Saturday somewhat, and the weather remains bitterly cold with continued snow falling on the peaks of high mountains and temperatures approach zero degrees Celsius in the high mountains including the capital's mountains.

In detail, the weather will be extremely cold tomorrow, Saturday, with an expected clear decline in wind speed and rain continues in the western regions of the Kingdom and it is not ruled out that it will be heavy at times, and the weather stabilizes later in the night of Saturday/Sunday with the formation of dense fog.

The weather on Sunday will be very cold and partly cloudy with scattered rain showers especially during the evening and night and until the morning of Monday and with an expected gradual intensification of the bitterly cold polar wave advancing through Turkish territories.

The bitterly cold polar wave pushes towards the Kingdom and the eastern Mediterranean regions on Tuesday and Wednesday and until the end of the week and heavy rain and snow fall in the mountainous areas including the capital Amman and temperatures drop below zero degrees Celsius making the current cold wave the strongest since 2003 at this time of the year.

The Kingdom and the eastern Mediterranean countries are still exposed to winter storms and successive weather depressions so that many areas in the north, center and southeast of the Kingdom exceed their entire rainy season early, and it is expected that this rainy season will extend with a delay in the start of spring compared to previous years due to the organization of the atmosphere which results in the advance of polar waves from the east and north of the European continent.
