WASM - Scattered showers will fall over northern and central Jordan tomorrow, Friday, starting from the afternoon hours
and during the evening and night, extending towards the southwestern highlands of Jordan, coinciding with a significant drop in
temperatures and active western winds.
Scattered showers will continue until Saturday morning, with weather becoming stable after Saturday afternoon and during the evening and night hours, with weather remaining cold and humid in general,
and WASM will issue a yellow alert level for weather conditions starting from Friday afternoon until Saturday afternoon.
A cold air front will cross tomorrow, Friday afternoon, and temperatures will drop with increased rainy clouds over northern and central Jordan and the southwestern parts of the Kingdom. The low pressure system is expected to be positioned far towards the southwest of Cyprus, which weakens the impact of the low pressure system on Jordan.
Weather will stabilize on Sunday and temperatures will rise slightly with expectations of renewed rainfall and cold conditions at the end of next week, with expectations of a significant and new drop in temperatures.
A strong high pressure system is positioned over the European continent, continuing to push cold air masses towards the eastern Mediterranean basin, Egypt, and northern Arabian Peninsula, which causes a succession of rainy conditions over the region.
