WASM - The WASM Regional Center issues monthly weather bulletins based on our developed climate model, which relies on statistical equations and adjusted similarity periods to achieve result accuracy of up to 75-80% in long-range periods.

September 2021 is expected to be moderate on most days, with expectations of few scattered and dispersed hot periods, but the strong heat wave is expected to continue during the first 3 days of the month.

Weather moderation increases and temperatures drop after September 18, with cooler weather during night, morning, and early hours, and weather becomes autumnal. Additionally, the chance of light rain is expected on September 18-20.

Few scattered hot days occasionally occur, when temperatures approach 35 degrees Celsius in Amman city during the heat rise, but for a short period and with no significant impact, and temperatures drop at night, especially in the last two weeks of September.

Jordan was affected by an extremely hot summer with consecutive strong heat waves since the end of spring season, with temperatures at levels of 40 degrees Celsius during many periods of this summer, as a result of global climate change
