WASM – The impact of the atmospheric low-pressure system on the Kingdom begins during Wednesday/Thursday night, with heavy thunderstorms and rain showers falling occasionally across various regions, winds intensifying, and temperatures dropping noticeably as a result of the influence of a deep cold air front.
Thursday will be cloudy, rainy, and cold over the northern and central regions, with heavy rainfall coinciding with active winds.
Weather will improve temporarily on Friday, with chances of scattered rain showers, especially in the morning hours, due to the Kingdom being affected by the leading edge of a new low-pressure system located west of Cyprus.
The Kingdom will be affected by another new low-pressure system on Saturday, with heavy rainfall resuming occasionally, winds intensifying, and temperatures dropping, particularly in northern and central Jordan and until the northern Karak region.
Beginning Sunday night, extremely cold polar-origin winds will surge, accompanied by the formation of a new and deep low-pressure system over the Cyprus Basin, causing heavy precipitation to resume across various regions.
