Alert – Temperatures will drop significantly tonight and tomorrow, Tuesday, as the country is affected by a "slightly cold" air mass that is unseasonable for this time of year. Temperatures during the coming nights and early morning hours will reach 12 degrees Celsius, and will be 5-7 degrees Celsius below seasonal averages.
Northwestern winds are expected to intensify and low clouds will increase during certain periods. Maximum temperatures in the capital and mountainous areas will reach around 21 degrees Celsius or slightly higher depending on the elevation of the area.
The effect of the slightly cold air mass is expected to increase later at the end of this week and the beginning of next week, which will lead to an increase in low cloud cover and higher chances of scattered rainfall, especially in the northern parts of the kingdom and western central regions.
Alert from sharp temperature fluctuations|
As a result of the significant temperature difference expected between Monday and tomorrow, Tuesday, and during the coming days, which may exceed more than 13 degrees Celsius as a maximum temperature, attention should be paid to these weather fluctuations that significantly increase the chances of seasonal illnesses or colds.
Weather fluctuations are expected to ease gradually during the second week of next month with expectations of stable temperatures at moderate and stable summer levels compared to the previous period.
