Temperatures will drop tomorrow, Friday, during the day to 31 degrees Celsius with active winds in the capital Amman, but this decline continues through the night as temperatures drop to 15 degrees Celsius and lower in the mountains, with cold becoming noticeable as cold winds surge toward the region.
Weather will be mild and spring-like during Saturday daytime with active winds and the presence of low-level clouds, but it will be cold during the night requiring light winter clothing, with minimum temperatures in the mountains reaching 11 degrees Celsius.
Cold weather will continue during the upcoming week's evenings, nights, and mornings, especially in the mountains, but it will moderate during the day with the presence of low-level clouds that will become denser and thicker during mid-week as the cold air mass deepens into the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere.
The chances of thunderstorm rainfall increase in some areas during mid-week, coinciding with moderate daytime weather and cold nights and early mornings.
WASM will issue all alerts regarding weather conditions during the upcoming week and any changes that may occur to weather conditions, noting that rainfall at this time of year is considered typical and falls within the rainy season period statistically, which runs from the end of September (Aylul) to the beginning of June (Haziran).
