WASM – Temperatures will fluctuate significantly due to the formation of a late-season low-pressure system in the eastern Mediterranean basin accompanied by a warm air mass ahead of it and cold air during its passage and impact. Heat will rise noticeably on Wednesday and Thursday, remaining around 34°C in the city of Amman, then will decrease significantly and notably over the weekend and beginning of next week to drop below 8°C in the mountains of Amman during night and morning hours.
It is expected that the temperature differential will reach 15-20°C between Thursday afternoon and Friday/Saturday night with increasing dense low clouds and cold weather coinciding with strong winds and dense dust stirring in desert areas.
Weather conditions will require full attention, particularly due to temperature fluctuations. It is recommended to wear light winter clothes following the expected hot conditions, especially in mountainous areas. We also expect that the sudden and strong temperature fluctuation will cause a high probability of increased seasonal illnesses.
