Moderate and partly cloudy weather is expected to continue tomorrow, Friday, with limited and light rainfall showers continuing in northern Jordan during midday and afternoon hours. Gradually, the slightly cold air mass will begin to retreat on Saturday and will diminish during Sunday.
Temperatures will rise slightly on Sunday and the weather will remain generally moderate, but it will become hot during midday and afternoon hours, especially in low-lying areas, with scattered light clouds appearing.
The temperature rise is expected to be temporary during the beginning and middle of next week, as temperatures will drop again and autumn conditions will return at the end of next week with renewed chances of rainfall showers in some areas.
Jordan has been affected by early autumn conditions despite intense summer heat and strong heat waves, which started early from April until the beginning of September. Some northern areas recorded limited rainfall showers yesterday, Wednesday, in the Ajloun highlands.
