Amman- The weather is expected to stabilize tomorrow, Wednesday, with limited freezing on some high mountain peaks, and temperatures will drop slightly below zero Celsius tonight on mountain peaks, with frost forming in wide areas of the kingdom, including the northern plains.
Light scattered snow showers are falling today, Tuesday, especially above 1000 meters above sea level and sometimes below that, accumulating weakly and limitedly on high mountain peaks. The weather will stabilize on Wednesday and Thursday amid continued severe cold, and light scattered rain showers are expected on Friday in the north and center of the kingdom.
The weather will stabilize from Saturday until Monday amid a slight rise in temperature and the retreat of the polar wave. The kingdom is expected to be affected by a new polar wave mid-next week, intensifying toward the end of the week, as severe cold conditions return and heavy precipitation falls.
The current winter season is expected to extend until the end of March, and the weather will gradually moderate during the blessed month of Ramadan with occasional cold waves continuing and rainfall occurring.
