Jordan | Slight temperature rise at the end of the week and sharp decline next week

WASM- Temperatures will rise slightly during the weekend with hot weather during midday and afternoon hours, especially in low-lying areas, and moderate weather for most of the time followed by a sharp drop starting from Sunday to become spring-like conditions.

The weather will be hotter next Saturday with temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman and mountainous areas where conditions will be hot during the day and moderate during evening and night hours.

Temperatures will drop noticeably starting from Sunday, especially in the evening period, with slightly cold conditions during the night and early morning of Monday with partly cloudy skies and temperatures around 26 degrees Celsius in the capital and mountains, being notably below their averages.

Rain showers will fall in the northern regions of the kingdom on Monday and Tuesday coinciding with spring-like and slightly cold weather during the night.

The kingdom is still far from heat waves, as the current beginning of summer is the least hot since 2017, which witnessed only 4-6 hot days since the beginning of May.
